Having climbed the ranks from a junior engineer during the peak 2008 recession to a senior executive, I learned firsthand what it takes to break through corporate stagnation. But more importantly, as a global hiring manager who has reviewed over 700 resumes and conducted hundreds of high-stakes interviews, I noticed a striking pattern: the most talented professionals are almost always the ones unconsciously underestimating their true market value.
